Two hours leisurely sail West of our location, through the beautiful rolling hills of the Pennines, will bring you to the famous mile tunnel of Foulridge and beyond, into the heartland of our once thriving industrial towns which afforded the building of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
Sailing East towards Yorkshire will bring you first to the picturesque locks of Greenberfield. Beyond Greenberfield, the canal winds it’s way gently through the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales towards Skipton. This is reputedly one of the nicest stretches of canal in the country.

Our canal side shop stocks a variety of gift items, from candles to ducks to brassware. Always in stock are Elsan chemical fluid, ropes, fenders, paints, windlasses, Nicholson maps and guides, and boat servicing products.
